Lara Croft actress Camilla Luddington has revealed the first details on the new motion capture technology being used by Crystal Dynamics for next year's Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Dubbed 'Mova', the new UV tech is said to track fluorescent paint sprayed onto the actress' face, allowing for up to 7,000 points of reference. Traditional mo-cap, Luddington points out, only allows for 90 points of reference.
The result is a "much more realistic capture", Luddington says, allowing for the next game to be even more "awesomely detailed" than the last.
The game is scheduled to launch during the next Holiday season.
