It was a night to truly remember as Laneige creates yet another magical event in the continued quest for a 'Younger Tomorrow'. Garnering all their top influencers around the region, I as honored to be one be part of this monumental Global Conference Night, as well as to witness the debut of the Perfect New Regenerator.
But before I begin, I need to digress and thank some lovely sponsors who gave me my Cinderella moment before the event! I met dear Elein from Headlines Hairdressing, who had kindly taken time out of her busy schedule. She knew just what to do with shameful birdnest which I call my hair, and gave me an elegant side-sweep updo. What I really liked is the intricate curls and mini-braid details at the back; such meticulous styling!
And lo and behold, I am a woman transformed: I loved how sleek and artistic my updo was, with a slight sheen that makes it looks healthy and bouncy. I got quite a number of compliments and enquiries where I had it done that night!

Next, I headed to Cang Ai Weddings; who has so kindly agreed to be my fairy godmother for this special occasion. Step into their beautiful boutique and you'll already be spoiled for choice; they have a massive selection of gown designs ranging from the latest runway trends to the traditional Kwa gowns for tea ceremonies! I tried a few dresses but my consultant SiYun had such a trained eye that it only took 3 dresses before hitting the jack pot!
I said YES to the dress! We finally settled for an understated gorgeous royal blue mermaid dress with rhinestone bustier.
Although I'm not about ready to walk down the aisle just yet, I totally recommend Cang Ai for anyone with wedding needs; the welcoming ambience, impeccable service and I really like their meticulous eye for details, rental dresses are kept looking spiffy and new despite their long years of business.

Like the previous sparkling party, I was yet again overwhelmed to see the scale of magnificence of the event; the stunning crystal ceiling features, the specially created fine-dining fusion dishes and the even more beautiful attendee from various south-east asian countries.

Encased in a pretty blue and gold dropper bottle, the Perfect Renew Regenerator is the epitome of luxe. It has a lightweight, slightly viscous consistency that is easily absorbed to leave skin feeling hydrated. I can't rave enough of the trademark refreshing scent, as I gently tap the translucent essence into skin, which is formed through the atomisation of oil through x1000 air pressure.
After continued use for the next 2 weeks, I believe that the Perfect Renew Regenerator has become my new K-beauty holy grail. I use it just before applying my BB Cushion for daytime if I get abit lazy (since I found it moisturizing it enough); but for maximum hydrating effects I'd say layer this before the Laneige Sleeping mask for double effectiveness. My skin felt more plumped up and brightened; and I feel this because I can even skip my primer step because makeup glides on so much smother than before.
