Lamp Makeover

About a month ago I came upon this fun pineapple lamp.  I've seen them around at other high end stores, but I really wasn't sold on spending up to 100 bucks on a lamp.  So when I saw this I knew it was going to happen.  That's right.  Spray paint.

I wanted something simple since it was such a large lamp and I didn't need to add any boldness or whimsy to it as it is.  I stuck with white and I love it so much more now!

Here's the end result. I covered an old lampshade and added it to tie in with the other colors in the room.  But the white base makes all the difference.
