French singer-songwriter Lain Ray now calls Amsterdam home after living in Berlin for some time trying to get awsy from his demons. That did not quite work out as planned, but it inspired him to record dark, nocturnal pop songs. He signed with Dutch indie Label Snowstar Records. Mateo is his first single, a slice of baroque pop a la Jacco Gardner and Echo & the Bunnymen.
