Grand Cinema Digiplex will screen La Traviata, the 2007 La Scala production (the one on DVD, with Angela Gheorghiu as Violetta, Ramon Vargas as Alfredo and Roberto Frontali as Pere Germont) on March 29 starting 8pm. Too bad they're not promoting their screenings. I found it by chance last week, when there wasn't even a photo. This cinema is far away and the tickets are more expensive than for screenings in other cinemas and the target public for opera doesn't necessarily surf the internet all day long. Maybe they'll do more in the future.
