Shelf Life: 2.5 years My Expectations: While purchasing it, obviously I didn’t expect million lashes but heavy volume, no clumping and water-resistant formula is all that I wanted from this mascara.
Well to be honest it did not fully live up to my expectations but I still LOVE it. To know why read on…. Look & Feel
- Package: L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara comes in a black and gold plastic tube. It’s quite convenient to carry in a handbag but will not fit in wallets.
- Shade: Extra Black. Not the blackest black but good enough to give you noticeable dense color.
- Wand: The bristles are short and distributed in a long hexagonal shape. The pointed end helps to coat the lashes on the outer corner well. In a nutshell, a perfect wand for thin straight lashes.
- Texture: You can never feel it’s presence on your lashes for the formula is so light and it glides on easily on the lashes.
Mascara Effects
- Clumping? None at all even when I layered 3-4 coats.
- Drying Time? In seconds.
- Water Resistant? No. Yes I did expect water-proof formula but when I read the package it didn’t claim to be water-resistant. Hence no complaints.
- Lasting Power? Till next face wash as it's not water resistant. But other-wise the effects lasts for almost 9 hours.
Without Mascara
- Volumizing? Amazing. You will get all the drama you need with 3 coats.
- Lengthening? I can say that it’s pretty satisfactory. Again my lashes are quite short
- Curling? Even without a curler it gives good lift to my poker-straight lashes with just a single coat. In the busy mornings I always skip eyelash curler but with this mascara I am all set.
- Finish? Natural looking lashes and the more number of coats the more dramatic it can be.
Cost Efficiency: Your 700 bucks are totally worth not only for the above mentioned factors but unlike most mascaras this doesn’t dry up soon. All the mascaras I have used till date, dry within 2 months after opening the pack. But this has lasted me more than 3 months and still the formula is smooth.
Final Note: If you are planning to buy L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara but are having second thoughts only because of the price factor then I suggest that it’s a good investment. Perfect for opening up eyes in the dull mornings and for giving dramatic lashes on a party hard night. Go ahead and buy it.
