Most of us love Eric’s progeny, Pam and the actress who plays her, Kristin Bauer van Straten. That’s why we’re helping to raise funds in honor of Kristin’s birthday once again!
November has officially arrived and with it comes (you guessed it) the second annual fundraiser in honor of Kristin Bauer van Straten’s (Pamela Sywnford de Beaufort) birthday, which is on November 26th! We, here at Eric & Sookie Lovers, have joined forces with True Blood Fan Source, Skarsgard Fans, ASkarsgard.net, and Inspired by Ian to help raise funds, in this month-long birthday celebration! The fundraiser kicked off on November 1st and will run through December 1st for something very near and dear to Kristin, her documentary, “Out for Africa”.
Kristin, her husband Abri, and a camera crew set off for Kenya in August to shoot the documentary that centers on the upsurge in ivory poaching that has threatened the population of the African elephant and seen the disappearance of the rhino in the wild. Within this story, we are introduced to the people and organizations that are on the front lines every single day trying to save more animals from meeting the same fate.
The Kickstarter campaign Kristin finished running back in August helped her get to Africa to shoot. But to finish it will require even more support – which is where we come in. This year, we will be not setting a finite goal for how much money we want to raise. Instead we’re aiming for as much as possible because finishing a film is expensive!
To accomplish that goal we’re bringing back our giveaway with lots of prizes including:

In addition to our giveaway prizes there will be several other ways to contribute as well. There were some items added into the True Blood Fan Source store that you can buy, such as their “Blood Sucker” wristbands and all sales from these items will go towards “Out for Africa”.
Our friends at Inspired by Ian will be selling plushies (these are SO CUTE!) that will benefit “Out for Africa” as well. Not to mention we’ll be auctioning a few items off!
After the fundraiser ends, the funds will be given to Kristin along with a card with the names of everyone who contributes – no matter what form you choose to support her charity project, “Out for Africa”.
