Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pamela Sywnford de Beaufort) is headed back to Storybrooke for a major story arc according to a report from Entertainment Weekly’s Natalie Abrams published late yesterday.
The report states that Bauer van Straten will reprise her guest starring role as Maleficent during the second half of Once Upon a Time’s fourth season in what is being described as a major story arc. While no specifics are available as of yet, it is hoped that we learn more about Maleficent’s past and Aurora’s history.
Since the character was slain by Emma in dragon form at the end of season one, she has been one of the most requested characters for a return.
Once Upon a Time season 4 premieres on ABC in September.
