You’ll be happy to know that now you can play the good-old fashioned console shooting game, Contra on your iPhone or iPad. Konami has officially released a HD improved version of the classic Contra game dubbed as “Contra Evolution”.
Despite the new name, this game is pretty much the same as the original game that we used to play on old consoles, only with tiny bits of improvements. Game has two new female characters that you can play as in addition to the original two dudes.
There’s no word about an Android version of this game yet. But, I seriously can’t wait to get it on my Android phone and remove the other crappy non-official Contra games for good.
For $0.99, you can now get this game from Apple Apps Store.
