Prosenjit Chatterjee's upcoming film Kishore Kumar Junior is directed by Kaushik Ganguly.
Kishore Kumar Junior is based on the street singers of West Bengal, also known as 'konthis'. Konthis are singer who makes living performing songs of their idols. The film also stars Aparajita Adhya, Masood Akhtar, Ritobroto Mukherjee, and Rajesh Sharma. Prosenjit will be seen playing a konthi devoted to the legendary Bollywood singer Kishore Kumar.
The film scheduled to be released on 12th October, will have a box-office clash with Srijit Mukherjee's Ek Je Chhilo Raja
