King Krule Releases Second Track ‘easy Easy’ [video]

As the oceanic Internet drowns us with Justin Bieber and Honey Boo Boo, soon to be 19-year-old Archy Marshall, better known as King Krule, is a breath of fresh air. Unlike those teenybopper mega-stars, most of Marshall’s songs are performed with a single guitar, just enough to play off his strangely deep and rich vocals. In lieu of coming out with a debut album since his break out single “Out Getting Ribs”, Marshall has worked on perfecting and carving out a place for his unique sound. This process definitely delivered results with his new single “Easy Easy”, which contains a directness that highlights his instrumental simplicity and inimitable voice in a hard-hitting and entertaining way. This song, along with “Out Getting Ribs” will be on his debut album 6 Feet Beneath The Moon coming out August 24 (King Krule’s 19th birthday). Check out the video for “Easy Easy” above!
