Well, sometimes. I remember I had a boyfriend who tried to control me: how I was dressed, how thin, my hair (aaaaalways long) so if you are not smart enough to walk away, it can be dangerous. I'm not going to say Kanye West is dangerous, you know I love him and the fact that he is crazy, but your man shouldn't control your physical appearance. I guess it's fine for little things such as "I love red lipstick on you" but I learnt my lesson long ago: anything else, walk away. He must love you for yourself!
