Killer Bee Porter – Tin Whistle Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Tin Whistle Brewing in Penticton comes their "Killer Bee Porter". The porter pours a deep brown colour with red tinges and a brown head. The aroma consists of honey, roasted malts and some chocolate. The flavour is of honey, caramel, roasted malts, chocolate and some coffee. The alcohol content comes in at 6%. This beer is on the sweeter side although that should not be a surprise as it has honey in the mix.

Commercial Description: Dark and rich. Tastes of chocolate and coffee. The flavour and aroma of dark honey creates a silky smooth finish. Silver medal winner at Calgary International Beer Fest.
