As we predicted, Friday the 13th: The Game is going to be a third-person survival horror where gamers get to play and survive as a teen counselor, or even play as Jason Voorhees and hunt down your prey like the madman that you really are.
Friday the 13th: The Game is a multiplayer game and it will take place in the iconic Mirroring Camp Crystal Lake from the Friday the 13th series. “Every aspect” of the game has been adapted straight from the movies, so you’ll have plenty of stuff to enjoy.

If all goes well with the Kickstarter campaign, Friday the 13th: The Game will be released on Xbox One, PS4, and PC by October 2016. For a pledge of $30, you have a chance to pre-order the game and help make it happen.
