It's Pamela Foester here welcome back to my blog I hope everyone's having a wonderful day today. I'm so excited to share this post about the products of the KeraCare Natural Textures line products which is designed specifically for natural hair. So for this article, I'm going ahead and use all of these products and share my honest opinion on them with you. I'm will also show you how I use them to achieve this cute little hairstyle here that I'm wrapped in. I promise I'm not going be one of those people who just push products and tells you that everything is good when it's not like I'm going to get real.
I'm will tell you it's crap if it's great. If whatever I'm just going to tell you how I feel we'll get real today. So if you're interested in seeing any of that just continue to read. So I'm starting with freshly washed hair. I just wash my hair with the KeraCare Honey Shea Co-Wash. The co-wash stand for conditioner. This is a cleansing conditioner which is a lot healthier than just a regular shampoo. It'll still clean your hair but you won't have to worry about it stripping your hair or making your hair feel dry.
When you open it up you can see the consistency of the product. So get this to focus. As you can see it's not as thick as a regular conditioner. But consistency is almost kind of like snot which sounds disgusting but I like it and my hair seems to like it as well. It feels moisturize and it also feels pretty clean. So yeah I like the co-wash.
Step Number Two
I always start off styling my hair by adding some moisture back into it once I washed it. So the next thing I'm going to use is the leaving conditioner. I'll put a little bit extra products in this dry patch I have in the middle of my head right here.
KeraCare Defining Custard
So this feels like deeply moisturizing but lightweight at the same time as you can see it's already starting to give my hair a little bit more curl definition. So, next, I'm going with one of my best product KeraCare Defining Custard. This is how it looks, guys.
Now, this is very snotty almost similar to the co-wash but like this is like extremely Sunny and it gets me excited because I know products that are kind of snotty and consistency helped to give my curls some proper definition without having to worry about too much crunch. It's just I'm excited. I think this is gonna be good.
I'm liking the smell of these KeraCare hair products, and all of the kind of smell the same. It's like a mixture of like Shea butter and honey I'm digging this. We don't have to finger coiled today oh no we don't. OK. So next I'm going to diffuse my hair. My hair is still pretty wet but this is what it looks like so far.
Nobody got time to diffuse it. So it's all the way dry. So far I'm pretty happy with this curl definition like I'm feeling good My hair feels happy it feels moisturize so good and so far I'm going to take a comb and part my hair to the side.
The top half part so it stays out of our way, and now I'm gonna create the second part underneath this.
KeraCare Natural Textures Twist & Define Cream
So we're going to take this bit of hair and twist it back and to do that we want. I'm going to use the KeraCare Natural Textures Twist & Define Cream just so we can get a nice hold. This is what this looks like.
This looks a bit more creamy still got that jelly-like consistency that I live can use a very small amount.
I'm just going ahead and repeat the same thing for the second twist. All right. So now that we've thought our twist all laid and Slade we're going to now work on selecting this side down just a little bit.
Now I'm going to use a little bit more of the defining custard in this section here. While this part is set in place we are going to lay these edges.
So, now I'm going to use the KeraCare Edge Tamer
This is my first time using edge control. I've just been using regular old gel on my edges so this should be interesting. So, I'm going to take my old toothbrush and dividend to the edge control. I'm not going to use too much. So, what I like to do is brush my baby hairs downwards first and then I will use my finger and the brush to kind of swoop them into nice little waves.
This is extremely stiff. They probably only use this for like special occasions. Where I just cannot move I feel like I could swim and this would still be in a place like this is some hardcore stuff.
I'm not seeing any white flakes or anything it just looks laid and slave triangle. And this is what we want right again I only think I will use this for special occasions. It's pretty stiff. It's pretty intense and once you put it on your edges will not move. Already, guys, this is the final look. I am pretty happy with how this came out.
I love these KeraCare products. I would have to say that my favorite is defining custard. It did some special for my hair. I think my curls look pretty good and yet they don't feel stiff or anything. My hair feels moisturized and it eliminates a lot of risk for me. My hair is normally really frizzy but I am not seeing very much frizz here. I'm just seeing a lot of definition and I'm loving it. I'm all for this. I would recommend this brand.
