These are the first few pages of my new scrapbook. At the moment I’m very attracted to bright, neon colours and the strange, asymmetrical shapes found in things like cartoons, Manga, and pop art. I’m loving really delicate Oriental prints too, and have been putting it all together into collages that are starting to look a bit Japanese, and very, very girly. Sort of like they’ve been pasted by Nyan Cat. If you don’t know who that is, click the link (preferably when you’re stoned) and be mesmerised.
I want to do something large-scale soon, on canvas, and this scrapbook is just my practice space, for collecting ideas that I might use. What do you think?
