I'm not sure how I didn't realize that KBShimmer had tools and mani shots (similar to mani bombs) before recently, but now that I know... lol... mani shot obsession! haha. Anyway, I recently received two mani shots and a cuticle pusher from KBShimmer and today I'll be sharing my thoughts on them with you.
Rainbow Finish Dual Ended Cuticle Pusher ($9.95 USD): "Cuticle pushers are one of the most important nail tools. They allow you to gently push back excess skin from nails, for a lovely base for polishing. These are also dual ended, and have a pointed end for nail cleaning. A textured middle allows for a non-slip grip. These pushers measure almost 5 1/2 inches from tip to tail, and are about 3/8 inches wide."
My thoughts? I hadn't previously used cuticle pushers but when I picked this out, I noticed that my cuticles had been sort of unruly, so I thought I would give it a shot. I love how this feels sturdy, and the textured middle for a better grip. I am glad that I picked this up and now push my cuticles on a regular basis. Mani Shots! I received two different mani shots for review. Of course I immediately used one (Southern Belle) without remembering to take any pictures (haha) but I did get a cell phone video of it which I will post on Instagram sometime today. The other shot was Relaxation scent. A little bit about Mani Shots from KBShimmer: "Our Mani Shot mani bombs are individually sized for use as part of your manicure or pedicure routine. We have loaded these fizzing shots with decadent cocoa and shea butter, luxurious jojoba oil and pure olive oil.""To use: Fill a bowl full of warm water. Remove lid of Mani Shot and press thumbs on the bottom of the container to pop up the Mani Shot. Then shake until the Mani Shot drops into a bowl of warm water. Shot will fizz for 30-60 seconds. Place hands/feet in water and let soak for 10 minutes. Remove from water and rub hands together to distribute oils and butter. Dab hands to dry, do not wipe."Southern Belle Mani Shot ($1.95 USD): "Southern Belle, think sweet peaches ripe from the vine, hives dripping with golden honey, white picket fences and green grass, ahh, summer in the south. A fresh blends of ginger, peach, mango, clove, citrus, the body of this sweet fragrance combines orange blossom, rose, and jasmine. Rounding out the blend is a slight hint of musk and woods, the perfect blend for any women wanting to feel sweet and lovely."Relaxation Mani Shot ($1.95 USD): "Relaxation is the perfect scent to help you de-stress and unwind. Lavender and Sage combine with soft notes Peppermint and Star Anise to round out this dupe of a popular B&BW scent. Great for men and women alike."
As I mentioned, I am now obsessed with Mani Shots/Bombs; I love how easy it is to treat your hands and nails and feel pampered while relaxing at home. At the price for these is so inexpensive that you could pick up some in every scent. Speaking of scents, be sure to check out the Mani Shot page HERE, as there are some limited edition / seasonal scents listed now!Overall, I was really pleased with both the tool and mani shots that I received, and would recommend them to all of my readers.
