This weekend was the Kathryn McCarron sample sale. Kicked off in her new studio, the event was a total success. I brought home a new piece of hers to add to my ever growing collection, and already, I know it's going to be a favorite! Click through to review the event!
Visiting Kathryn in her studio is always one of my greatest joys. She recently moved to a new space, and from her description I was eager to see it in all its glory. It's amazing: Large windows that let in gorgeous San Francisco light. Which, as it turns out is the perfect compliment to her beautiful designs. Her knits are something I look forward to every season. I live in her clothes. I bought a cardigan from her last year that I never travel without - it goes with me everywhere.
Aside from being incredible at what she does, she's also one of the sweetest people. She's also incredibly humble; tell her how gorgeous she is, and she'll blame the lighting.
With this upcoming season Kathryn McCarron has some exciting things planned. I'm not too sure how much I'm allowed to say, but...p r i n t s. Summer has barely started, and already I'm anxious for September!
