Having now tried this I can confirm that for £5.49 it was worth every penny. The formulation of the lipstick is moisturising and creamy and very highly pigmented and by this I mean the color of the stick is exactly the shade it goes on your lips, beautiful! Theres a very slight shine to it, so its not quite a full matte. The only downside is that it does transfer, onto drinking glasses, kissing your bf (he will have red lips after) etc, you get the gist. So with this in mind I will be slapping on a coat of Lipcote lipstick sealer over the top to extend the longevity. I will be definitely picking up a few other shades though very soon.
