Sunglasses are an ESSENTIAL part of my summer wardrobe. My eyes have the sensitivity of a newborn baby, and let's be honest, everybody looks better behind a great pair of shades! But like everyone else on the planet, I have a tendency to misplace, sit on, or somehow break my favorite pairs. So where does a girl go when she wants killer eyewear that doesn't break the bank? Warby Parker of course!
What I've always admired about Warby Parker is how they carry eyewear with high style at such a reasonable price. Plus, they allow you to try five styles before you buy! Their summer 2014 collection is flawless, offering specs for every face and style. But what I'm really excited about is their latest project. The supremely gorgeous Karlie Kloss has collaborated with Warby Parker to create her own capsule collection. This selection of eyewear is as beautiful and fun as she.
As part of this collaboration, Warby Parker is making a donation to Edible Schoolyard NYC. This organization provides low- income public schools with kitchens and gardens, and students through hands- on curriculum led by Edible Schoolyard staff members, learn the tools to develop healthy eating habits. The donations will benefit two community farm stands in Brooklyn and East Harlem, where kids will learn about food prep in their own neighborhoods. As an added bonus, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
I can't decide which pair is my favorite! Check out these beauties for yourself, each available for $140. Then shop them here.
