I remember after unboxing the facial oil cum serum, I was pretty hesitant to apply due to its kind of thick texture. The oil has slightly brownish yellow tinch and gets absorbed- like light oils do.
As per the prescribed lines over the box- it was stated only 4-5 drops should be applied over normal skin. And I - towards the twilight of my twenties, have somehow settled to normal combination skin now. So use only 3-4 drops , slightly less over the cheeks and more over my T-zone.

In a sentence, - its not amiable initially but graduated to be the love of life. Initially I found myself cursing this - so called beauty elixir, as it gave few bumps and small acne around my cheek. But true to its name- it does wonders if applied correctly.
But then I went over to research and here's what I found on Kama Ayurveda website- As this is a highly concentrated Ayurvedic product and is sesame oil based, usage should be as per one's skin type. Acne prone - Sensitive skin may not be able to tolerate the prescribed 4-5 drops as it may clog pores.
So I slightly tweaked my routine with applying the rose water first to dampen the skin, topping with only 2-3 drops of Kumkumadi Serum. And Violla' within 3-4 days it started showing result and here's my take after 2 months of regular usage.
