Kadaikutty Singam features Karthi and Sayyeshaa in the lead roles, and a supporting cast including Sathyaraj, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Arthana Binu.
The film, will also be released in Telugu as Chinna Babu.

In today's world of corporates and megastructures, with action thrillers depicting the protagonist rappelling onto the side of buildings, films which depict a pastoral and rural life tend to hit a bit closer to home. 'Kadaikutty Singam' is one such pastoral film, directed by none other than Pandiraj. Karthi takes on the lead role of a farmer in this venture, backed by 2D Entertainment production house. The film teaser gives a glimpse into the harsh life of the rural and agricultural setup, with Karthi's character bestowing the farmers around him with self-esteem, and a desire to serve and create, akin to the gods. The film's slated to release soon, although an official release date is yet to be conveyed to the media and audiences.
