This is Kachiya Moru which is flavored | seasoned Buttermilk. My amma makes this often especially during summer. This has good medicinal ingredients and is stored in earthen pot. It stays good for a week and has curing effects for stomach issues.Ingredients:Buttermilk- 300 mlMustard- 1 tspCurry leaves- fewChopped garlic- 3 tbspFenugreek- 2 tbspGreen Chilly-2Salt- as per tasteOil- 1 tbspTurmeric- 1/2 tspMethod:

Kachiya Moru | Seasoned ButtermilkHeat oil in a kadai.Fry mustard and fenugreek and fry well till mustard crackles.Add garlic, green chillies and fry till crisp.Add curry leaves, salt and turmeric and fry till curry leaves become crisp.Put off the flame and add the buttermilk.Mix well and transfer to earthen pot.Tip Do not leave it in the cooked kadai itself. The heat will make the buttermilk curdle.For kids you can filter and give.This can be had as a drink or can be had with plain rice.
