According to Discovery News, this special table tennis match was simply a publicity stunt to celebrate the opening of Kuka’s new Shanghai factory. Even though this was certainly an impressive match, I still believe that the homemade ping pong robot we saw earlier made at a home garage is actually more fascinating than this one.
