As you saw on my latest post, I was able to finally decorate some and furnish a few more rooms in my house. You have no idea how long I was waiting to do that!
I also applied for another position with my company sometime last week. I got the call on Friday that I have an interview lined up for tomorrow afternoon! I'm so excited!
When it comes to interviews, I think I stand out and do a great job. I normally don't get nervous at all.
But for some reason, I am extremely nervous about this one. The interview portion of the process is not really what I am nervous about. I think what I am most nervous about is the presentation part.
For this particular job, I had to put together a 10-15 minute training presentation on anything of my choice.
I was racking my brain trying to figure out what I can do this presentation on. Then it finally clicked.... Blogging!
I created a training presentation on How to create a blog using blogger.com and the importance of being creative. I did a power point slide show and everything! HA!
Now, I hope it stands out above all the other candidates, which I'm sure they will give their presentations on the importance of Customer Service. LOL. I know that is important, but I wanted to show my creative side, to show them that I am capable of thinking outside the box, and to also show that I can train on anything, and keep these agents intrigued. :)
