Junior Boys Brought Late Night Magic to Webster Hall [Photos]

After the party comes the after-party, and after the after-party…is a pretty good time to listen to Junior Boys. The Canadian synth soothsayers slid into town Thursday night to treat the lovestruck and the lovesick alike to late-night anti-anthems from their latest, Big Black Coat, as well as choice selections from their expansive and beloved back catalog (including “Birthday”, “Double Shadow”, “Under The Sun”, and, of course, “In The Morning”). This wasn’t the usual EDM rave-up Webster Hall-goers are used to — it was something more chill, more refined and decidedly more seductive.
