See what some people have done with the gift of Juneteenth
This is a followup to the Juneteenth article posted earlier this month.
The Emancipation Proclamation was an extremely important change in American society. It began the process of repentance from the nation’s worst sin. Most people of African descent have made great gains since then, accomplishing noble deeds, strengthening their neighbors, enriching the country with talent, hard work and genius.
Sadly, there are some who would do things so stupid that they risk tainting the reputation of all others who share their race.
