June Favourites

038

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first EVER favourites post! I always love reading these kinds of posts and I’ve taken so many suggestions and tips from them recently, that I thought I’d do my own. I’ve found so much wonderful junk lately and thought it was a good time to share, so here you go!

Scarf: This is a beautiful vintage rose scarf that ScarfWorld were kind enough to send to me. I absolutely love triangle scarves, they are so easy to wear and work so well with so many things. I’ve never shown my scarf collection on my blog but I’m thinking maybe I should, as it’s quite considerable. This one is a gorgeous addition to my stash, as I don’t really have any other light, summer scarves that I can pop on over a dress if I’m going out at night. I absolutely love the little rose detailing and I’ve been wearing it every day since it arrived, so please check them out if you’re in the market for something similar. I’m sure you’ll see it in future outfit posts!

Candle: This is a really scrummy scent from Yankee candle, which I received from Scented Candle Shop. I’ve been seeing this candle everywhere this summer and just had to get my own! It smells exactly like ice cream and raspberries and sugar…

Nylon: My reading addiction continues. When will Nylon launch a British edition?! I want to work there so badly. In the meantime I’ll have to make do with reading it and re-reading it.

Make-Up: I was lucky enough to be able to try some new gorgeous goodies from W7 Cosmetics, and these are my favourites. I’d never used a fixing spray on my face before, being a bit worried it was like hairspray or something and would blind me in seconds, but this couldn’t be further away from that, and is lovely to use and smells divine. It works really well as a kind of hydrating mist as well, and my make-up did last all day.  The nail polish is AMAZING and lasted three days without a top coat, and zero chips! The color is really vibrant for summer too and looks good with a tan, if you are the kind of lucky person that can develop such a thing. I loved the lipstick too, it has a really creamy consistency and the color stayed put for ages with no need to reapply. I usually wear red lippy but it was nice to switch to pink for a bit, I think it might actually suit me.

Sunglasses: These shades only cost me £3 in Primark!! I think they still have them in stock. I’ve been getting a lot of cheap shades lately, as I seem to be the worst at holding on to a pair. I’m definitely the girl who drops them on the dance-floor and can’t be bothered to look.

And there we have my June Favourites! What have you been loving lately?
