English singer and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Watkins shows some righteous anger on Hum Hotline, a track by his Joyce project, consisting of a group of alumni from the UK music scene who don't care about genres or pigeonholing who have teamed up to make an album called Voyce. Post-punk meets ambient and shoegaze for an unrelenting trip with Watkins as a grumpy guide pointing out things that get on his nerves.
Voyce will be released via Human Worth on September 13, including a luna yellow deluxe eco mix 12” LP (limited edition of 250). A portion of all proceeds will be donated to charity Prostate Cymru – a voluntary group dedicated to fighting Prostate Cancer, procuring equipment and raising awareness in the Welsh Principality.
