Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, friends and family of all ages, the time has come for me to venture back out into the world in search of new employment opportunities.

It’s an exciting prospect, in the way that excitement can encompass many feelings and feel like many things all at the same time. Since late 2011 I’ve been very fortunate to work with a great team at The Blog Studio on some pretty cool projects. I learned a lot about a lot of things in my time with them and will miss seeing their faces every day.

HOWEVER, I love new opportunities and right now I have the chance to find something that challenges me and tests my creativity and everything that I know and love about the internet and community and social media and brands and building things and bringing new ideas to the world.

That is exciting!

I am looking for employment opportunities on a full time or freelance basis in the internet world of social media, community management, content creation & strategy, copy writing and blogging. Over the last three years I have been creating web content and working in social media across many markets and audiences including sports, movies, health & fitness, daily deals, web design and social media – it’s been really fun writing and posting about new things and acting as the voice of brands and building and supporting communities. I would relish the chance to do more of that.

Want to know some more? Here are some things that aren’t on the About Me And You page:

  • I’m against the Oxford Comma.
  • I’m for 1 space after all punctuation.
  • I like being early to the office.
  • I love drinking coffee in the morning or the afternoon, or both.
  • I know a bunch of things about sports and pop culture and seem to remember the most random of trivia type facts.
  • I love to write and started with bad poetry when I was about 14.
  • I draw inspiration from sports, movies, music, other people’s great work, stories and life in general.
  • I love community – it’s one of my favorite things about what I’ve been able to do for a living and in my personal life.

But most of all, I love people. And the opportunity to work with great people on any project is rather outstanding in my eyes.

So if you know someone who is looking to fill a hole on their team or you think that I should connect with someone who might be able to assist me in my employment search, let me know.

I’m all ears and ready for action!

Keep being awesome out there and thank you for your help!

- Joshua
