Josh Dallas, who plays Prince Charming on “Once Upon a Time,” appeared on “GMA” on April 12 and told fans to expect crazy plot twists as the hugely popular series leads up to a major cliffhanger in the season finale. He revealed some details on Friday and said about the wildly imaginative series, “It’s just the best to be able to play these iconic characters.”

Lara Spencer opened the interview by explaining that “Once Upon a Time” is a smash hit series where fairytale characters live in a beautiful seaside town in Maine. “The fans are so passionate about this show,” she stated. Josh agreed and said that they have a lot to look forward to on Sunday nights. He revealed that his curse has been lifted, but he’s not quite back. “One of Charming’s main focuses is trying to get back to fairytale land to rebuild it and make it better than it ever was,” he explained on Friday.

Snow White, played by Ginnifer Goodwin, recently revealed a dark side on “Once Upon a Time,” but Josh Dallas claims that Prince Charming is still madly and passionately in love with her. “I think she is the woman that he thought she was and is and he loves her. He has true love, so he’ll support her no matter what,” Dallas said on “Good Morning America.”

“Lost” writers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitcz created “Once Upon a Time.” It premiered in 2011 and is currently in its second season. When the series premiered, it was ABC’s biggest debut in five years. Since then, “Once Upon a Time” has become the No. 1 non-sports program with viewers and young adults on Sunday nights. The hit show consistently pulls in about 11 million viewers every week and has been critically acclaimed. It’s been nominated for numerous People’s Choice, Satellite and Saturn Awards, plus one Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Award. It takes place in a fictional place called Storybrooke.
