What is the Lady Dork Bar Klatch?
It's a social club that meets about once a month, usually in Hamilton, Ontario, to get mildly drunk and make fun of ourselves and others.
- It's not for work.
- It's not for your family.
- It's not a fundraiser.
- It's not a networking event.
- It's just for you. And your drinking habit.
Who is welcome?
If you can limply mutter "yes" to all these questions, you're in:
- Are you female, or female-ish?
- Do you ever feel like a total dork?
- Are you, like, just a nice, laid-back kind of person who just wants to sit around and eavesdrop on your fellow pub-goers and then make fun of them but, like, not in a really mean sort of way?
'Klatch' is fancy/dorky word for a get-together.
What is 'Meetup?'
It's, like, a website that organizes get-togethers. Here's the jazz from the website:
