Los Angeles crooner Johnny Rain is a name you want to keep on your radar, especially after you listen to the alternative/R&B jams of his latest project, Villain. In the wake of the new wave of R&B artists like The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, JMSN, etc, Rain brings his smooth style to this genre, making it more exciting to be a fan of the style. Not only do you get a feel for what he is trying to convey through the lyrics, but the multiple influences and genres he easily incorporates make listening to this project much more enjoyable. I'm exciting to see what he cooks up next, but for now stream and download below.
