Arte TV has dedicated an episode of their Tape web series to John Cale. Besides familiar footage of The Velvet Underground the clip contains bits of the TV show I've Got A Secret (September 16, 1963), the show with Lou Reed and Nico at Le Bataclan in Paris (January 29, 1972), the infamous Rockpalast concert in Essen (October 14, 1984) and the Paris 1919 show in Malmö, Sweden (November 21, 2011).
The Franco-German TV network ARTE taped the re-imagining of The Velvet Underground concert in Paris on April 3rd. It will be available for streaming on the Arte Concerts website as of May 21. TV broadcast on June 11 - 0h35.
