His long awaited book Strange Beautiful Music: A Musical Memoir ( BenBella Books) will be in the shops in April. Co-written with Jake Brown it's a look behind the scenes. Among the interviewees are his Chickenfoot band mates Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith and guitarists Steve Vai, Kirk Hammett, and Larry LaLonde.
Satriani will be on tour in Europe in June.
