Jennifer Lopez is launching her twentieth (yup 2-0) fragrance this month! Can you believe it? It feels like just yesterday that she was launching Glow but this woman has been cranking out iconic scents for eleven years now. Exclusively at Kohl's, JLove by Jennifer Lopez is a vibrant, sensual fragrance that reflects J.Lo's opulent, signature style.
JLove's classically shaped bottle with clean lines represents Jennifer's sophisticated side while the animal print bottle top and burnt red dispenser shows off her fun, sexy personal style. It's also directly inspired by her Fall 2013 Jennifer Lopez Collection of clothing for Kohl's! The actual fragrance, a golden peach liquid, is a citrusy floral with top notes of white raspberry and juice tangerine. Normally, I tend towards more masculine scents but, with a heart of coconut orchid, white wood and skin musk, JLove is the perfect blend of girlie and edgy- just like Jennifer Lopez!
Inspired by an amazing street style snap of Jennifer Lopez in a Gucci fur vest last year, I put together this fun look; Perfect for an early dinner on Beacon Hill in autumn!

I grabbed my cropped fur vest and my oxblood leather leggings to recreate her street strut. I love mixing textures and while I usually leave it at two per outfit I broke my own rule by doing lace, leather and fur all at once. Of course, I had to add in a pop of leopard print to finish off the look. I felt as though each piece was subtle enough that layering textures and prints added interest without feeling cluttered...besides if anyone fearlessly breaks style rules it's JLo!
