Jharkhand is all set to inaugurate the brand new botanical garden in Soso on June 15, 2020. Soso is a village under the Nawagarh gram panchayat located in Angara Tehsil of Ranchi district. It is located at a distance of approx 200 meters from Hundru falls.
The garden is spread over an area of almost 8 acres and will have more than 36 species of flora. The main attraction of the botanical garden are the 8 types of bamboo trees along with Bougainvillea, Mango, Indian gooseberry, Coconut, Mahogony, Pomegranate, Java Plum, Arjun, Gulmohar, etc.
The best part about the botanical garden is that 42 reservoir of 4 by 4 feet each has been constructed to store rainwater for irrigation.
To be honest, there are various locations for tourists to explore in Jharkhand and the project will definitely boost the tourism sector in the state.
