Yesterday’s Readings and Gospel remind us of the Love and Mercy of the Triune God. This is one of my favorite prayers that is actually the concluding prayer of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I would like to share it with you and ask that you also pray this beautiful prayer.
“Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself.”
Amen. (From the Diary of St. Faustina, 950)
We must always remember that God’s Love and Mercy is endless. His door is always open to us! The devil and his minions continue their attempts to destroy us with despair and despondency, desiring to impose a sense of failure upon us. They are frauds lodging a war in futility living in their own fantasy land, because they lose! Yet, in the meantime, we continue to live our lives with thankfulness and gratitude to God, from whence comes joy and peace.
With respect and love,
Joan
