When it comes to Rap and Hip-Hop there is always good for friendly competition. Today Jay Electronica dropped a freestyle to We Made It, which features Jay Z . Durning Jay Z verse he calls out Mr. Aubrey or should I say throws some friendly shade towards him. Last month, during Drake’s controversial interview with Rolling Stone, he told the magazine that he had a real interest in art, while making this statement about Jay Z:
It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.
Jay has a response to that. In the freestyle, he raps:
Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk
Silly me, rappin’ ’bout sh-t that I really bought
While these rappers rap about guns that they ain’t shot
And a bunch of other silly sh-t that they ain’t got
Really Not sure if he say Mr. or Miss , but let just go on the safe note and say he said Mr. On another note Drake should feel honor that Jay Z called him out because Jay rarely does this. On a positive note, my future wife Lupita got a shout out:
