Japanese Scientists Create See-through Mouse

Thankfully, the mice used for this experiment was actually dead mice, where the scientists inject a saline solution and remove all the blood and introduce a reagent to make things appear transparent. The process somehow doesn’t work on live mice as they have died during the procedure.

Kazuki Tainaka, the lead author of a research and other scientists involved in this research believes that this can help them get a “new understanding of the 3D structure of organs and how certain genes are expressed in various tissues,” and even study and understand the development of cancer and autoimmune diseases.
