Just like every other gamer, I too dream of getting my hands on a video game before anybody else does. Sadly, I live in the far end of the globe so what I get is the complete opposite. But, what if I tell you that there’s a way to play a game before even its’ released and get paid for it? Yes, that’s what video game beta testers does. Although, not everyone qualifies to be a game tester because it requires a certain set of expertise and mad gaming skills. Just like this Japanese guy who makes 1 million Yen (about $10000 USD) playing a video game all day long for 3 months.

This guy goes by the name “Moru-chan” and his job is to play this online role-playing game called, ArcheAge. According to RocketNews24, this dude spends about 12 hours a day playing this game while live-streaming his gameplay to the developers, Niconico. In order to make this $10K, Moru-chan was stuck in a routine for 3 months. He basically wakes up at 12 P.M. and start gaming at 3 P.M. then go to sleep at 6 A.M. Even though it sounds pretty weird to be stuck in a room for three months playing the same game, this guy is absolutely loving it. Even his wife fully supports him.

This could be the dream for some gamers like Moru-chan but to me it sounds like torture. Just as Ubergizmo says, this can be fun in the beginning but three months is an awful lot of time to be alone in a room.
