JANUARY FAVOURITES
With the first month of 2015 nearly over, it's time for a favourites post. In 2014 I wasn't the best at doing these each month, but this year I'm going to try my best!
01. Elemis Rehydrating Rosepetal CleanserThis has made a huge difference in the condition of my skin. As the weather has become much colder recently, my skin has suffered however this cleanser has helped to hydrate dry patches and also brighten the appearance. It smells amazing and is really gentle on aggressive skin. Read my full review here.
02. S&G Whipped Clean Shower CreamFrom the mountain of Soap & Glory products I received for Christmas, this is one of the first I've tried and loved. It has a very thick and luxurious consistency, which is different to any other S&G shower creams I've tried. The only way I can describe it is like whipped cream, which I guess is where the name comes from. It's very kind to dry and sensitive skin and like all S&G products, has a gorgeous scent.
03. EOS Strawberry LipbalmI haven't been anywhere without this recently. It smells amazing and works wonders on my lips. It feels so nice once applied and doesn't sit on my lips for a while afterwards, or leave them feeling greasy. It gives them hydration that lasts and is an all round amazing product.
04. Lush Candy Mountain Bubble BarI've used all of this, that's why it isn't pictured. I've always been a little hesitant to use Lush products due to how sensitive my skin is but I was pleasantly surprised with this. I got so many uses out of this and a small amount created more than enough bubbles. It made my skin feel silky smooth and also smelt amazing. I'd definitely use a bubble bar again, I much prefer it over a normal bubble bath.
05. Tangerine & Pomegranate Candle by Our Own Candle CompanyI received so many candles for Christmas but this is my favorite. I love candles in jars but the Yankee candle jars have wore off now so I was exited to have something different. The smell is amazing, I'm not usually a fan of tangerine scented things but this I love, I can't explain the smell but it's quite sweet and not too overpowering. I'm trying to refrain from using it 24/7 as the jar is only small, but I've looked on their website and have my eye on a few I'd like to buy!
06. Naked 2 PaletteI've saved the best until last here, I'm so in love with this palette. I've hardly touched my other make-up palettes this month as I've been experimenting with this so much. There is a good selection of colours that are easy to create day time and evening looks with. The pigment of the shadows is amazing as always and they last all day perfectly with a primer underneath.
