So, today's pictures are from the book event organized by Penguin India and Quill & Canvas wherein noted Indian editor Mr. Vinod Mehta had a lively Q&A session about his recently published memoir Lucknow Boy.
The highlight, for me, was when afterwards, during the book signing, I asked him to make the book out "for the person who reads this book". He then asked me to repeat what I had just said. Now, I am pretty sure this was probably because of the noise factor and maybe my slight lisp, but imagine my surprise when I reached home and found out that he had written "for the person who reads Facebook".
Nevertheless, it was nice of him to honor the wishes of his readers no matter how absurd they sounded. For me, I guess I end up with something unique.
