How close do you want to walk with God? Enoch had such an intimate, close relationship with God that he didn't even experience death. He was just taken by our God. Enoch truly knew what it was like to be one with the heavenly Father. Then we have Noah (Enoch's great grandson) that too had such a close fellowship with God that his family and his alone was the only one saved from the flood of judgment sent by God. As I read these passages today, I thought about myself and how close do I want to be with God. I want to have a strong friendship with Him where I just talk to him like I would my closest earthly friends. I don't want God to be just an image in my head, but real and alive in my every day living. Holy Spirit, I want to be even the more closer to you in the name of Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior!
