Well…I could not stop with just one! Here I have another short wig review. This one is from the Janet Collection and her name is Miss Helen. I can’t hold my excitement any longer. Can you? Let’s jump into this Janet Collection Wig Review. Live video review is also embedded below here.
A LITTLE SIDE FRINGE PLEASE!
The Miss Helen Wig is an asymmetrical bob with a side fringe. I just love the way I try to describe these units — it’s a mouthful each time. Anywho…It’s also an ombre unit with dark ash blonde and black colors. The unit is a full-cap wig so there is no lace to cut {WooHoo!}. Just (1) place the wig on your head and (2) go.
MISS HELEN IS A FULL CAP-PER
Miss Helen is a full cap wig with no combs. You will need to use bobby pins to secure it to your head. I found the wig cap to be a bit on the large side. A large wig cap is neither good or bad in my opinion. Just thought I would mention it here in case it helps.
IF IT LOOKS LIKE A WIG…
I admit. The Miss Helen wig is a bit “wiggy”. The wig’s part has no depth. In fact, it’almost invisible. This makes the unit a little unrealistic looking. We love a wig that doesn’t look like a wig. I can’t say this is this case with Miss Helen. It looks like a wig.
FLIP IT OR SKIP IT!
Overall, I think the unit is ultra-cute. It’s not much styling that is needed. You can choose to wear the side fringe flip backwards (like the unit comes). Or, you can flat iron it so it lays forward. Your choice. I found it hard to style the side fringe. The tail piece was a little too long and I just couldn’t figure out what to do with it.
IN THE SHADE — DAISY
Oh, I almost forgot to mention. The Miss Helen pictured here is in the shade Daisy. Daisy is an ombre shade with dark blonde and off black colored hair. I picked up Janet Collection Miss Helen wig for $19.99.
