Jan. 11 – Prime Desert Woodland Preserve to Host Bird Walk

0104_lancaster_birdwalk_w200_res72 The City of Lancaster invites local residents to the Prime Desert Woodland Preserve for an enchanting Bird Walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11.

Attendees can enjoy a guided tour of the Preserve’s beautiful trails all while learning about the desert’s birds. Audubon Society member and co-chair, Vern Benhart, will lead participants on an hour long walk, teaching about desert birds. A City Park Ranger will accompany the group as they walk the trails, enjoying all that nature has to offer.

The Prime Desert Woodland Preserve is located at 35th Street West & Avenue K-8 in Lancaster.
