Jaipur Moments

Leaving the beautiful Samode Palace we returned to the Samode Haveli and enjoyed some hot tea in the last of the Jaipur sunshine for the day, by the poolside, our fav spot.  Golden hour for taking photos. And I rather enjoyed wearing my tilaka on my forehead. The red matched in pretty darn well with my Coromandel Chanel red too, don’t ya think? It was also a good excuse to show up my beautiful mehndi too. It came up super dark on my palms, and less so on my arms which I think is a good thing as it is more subtle. Actually it stayed on my hands for a good two weeks which I was fairly impressed by. It was obviously my resistance to sit and pick it all off which made it last a lot longer. After enjoying the sunshine we went back to our lodgings via a little trip (short trip) up to the flat roof. I say “short trip” as we were promptly told to leave by the security guard due to monkey behavior. And no, that’s not our behavior it’s due to the slightly vicious behavior of actual monkeys! There is a totally different world(s) ...
