Jai Ho! the Temple Above All, the Parliament

Posted on the 20 May 2014 by M Shekhar @politicscope
Incredible! Everyone flowed in the tide of emotions when Narendra Modi bowed down putting his head on the green coated stairs of the Parliament House before moving his first step inside. Such a touching scene and infrequent gesture was obviously not witnessed yet.
JAI HO! THE TEMPLE ABOVE ALL, THE PARLIAMENT If not exaggerated, it can be placed in rarest of rare assemblage. It might be for a moment. Nonetheless the Parliament has witnessed the entry of a number of popular leaders, but this scene would have however astonished the House, obviously.
The act apparently connected to the past Atal Behari Vajpayee, then Foreign Minister, delivered his lecture in United Nations in Hindi, instead English like many others. The scene compelled all to retrospect and remember a few glorious moments of the past to live.
As a matter of fact, BJP was the staunch supporter of construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya but during entire election campaign the issue was almost missing. The issues floated in the air were about development, corruption, inflation etc.
With bowing before the stairs Modi diligently converted the Parliament as a temple and placed it above all.
During Lok Sabha election campaign, Modi tried to convey people that the Ram Mandir was not an issue any more. May be strategically such things appeared assigned to Swami Ramdev, Amit Shah and  other leaders like Giriraj Singh.
In most of his rallies Modi didn’t discuss the temple issue. Apart from the temple issue there are a number of problems concerned directly with the people. After being elected the BJP Parliamentary Party leader Modi delivered an emotional speech.
Also, responding to his mentor LK Advani’s praise, Modi mildly countered that serving the mother is not a favour but the prime duty of the children. He wanted to assure the people that there is no need for pessimism going by the past bad experience.
There were other moments of snippets when Modi broke down making other to sync with wiping tears or adjusting their glasses.<
