Jacuzzi Boys Bring the Electricity in ‘Boys Like Blood’ [Stream]

Reminiscent of an upbeat version of Death From Above 1979’s hit “Sexy Results,” the latest track from Miami outfit Jacuzzi Boys, “Boys Like Blood,” is an utterly electrifying dip into the post-punk revival genre with grinding, fuzzy guitar and vocals dripping with a seductive subtext. References to items of crazy nights, like buzzing in one’s head and sleeping outdoors, all lead up to the lyric “Girls like love, but boys like blood,” a concrete and almost provoking statement. It’s an electrifying song, one that coaxes you along with it and keeps you pushing yourself just a little further. All in all, “Boys Like Blood” is a track that’s going to be on my going-out playlist for a very, very long time.
