By Bkoffman
One of the benefits of going to conferences, besides hearing about the latest data on CLL, is meeting up with good friends in the CLL world. At the iwCLL meeting in Manhattan last May, I met up with a Professor Peter Hillmen from the University of Leeds in the UK, we had the opportunity to talk about minimal residual disease (MRD) in CLL You can read the article, listen to the interview and read the transcript here.If you have not read earlier articles posted on our website about MRD, you could read my summary or listen to an interview from EHA 2016 with Dr. Stephan Stilgenbauer on MRD negativity here, or read an article that includes a debate between Dr. Matthew Davids from Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Dr. Richard Furman from Weill Cornell as they take sides on the Role of MRD Negativity in CLL. You can access that article here. If you want a personal response, or just want to stay in touch, please email me at [email protected]. I have no other way of contacting. Thanks. Stay strong. After all, we are all in this together. And please visit our website: http://cllsociety.org for the latest news and information.
